Much needed time off

I feel weird saying that taking Thursday and Friday off was much needed. I did just have a week off a month ago when I moved, but that was a lot of work, all day and into the nights, and no stopping on the weekend either.

I had a scheduled unpaid day off on Thursday and decided to just go ahead and take today off and give myself a long weekend. It’s only 6:30 on Friday night and I’m so glad I decided to do this!

I returned things to Michaels, and then Amazon stuff to Kohl’s. I had my locks changed, and then got a few extra copies made. I broke down all the cardboard and took it to the recycle center. I knew I had too much for the recycle bin. My trash + recycling is picked up on Tuesdays but I didn’t want it hanging around for a few weeks. I made some good progress on my office, it’s still a ways to go.

I sold some things on Facebook [and they picked it up!]. I was able to use my new leaf blower to clean off the porch area + put up my new welcome sign. I hung a welcome sign in my front entry way. The rug for under my dining room table came today, so I managed to maneuver the table and get it under there.

My cousin Red came over today to help me with the keypad for my garage but we can’t get it figured out either. I will do a little more searching on YouTube to see if I can figure it out. I’m so grateful that he works up here and can stop and help when I need a little help.

I did a little work in my office getting an order placed. Then I decided it was going to be a couch + TV kinda night. One of my Scentsy friends mentioned that she watched 9-1-1; so I started watching it on Hulu. I don’t know why but only seasons 1 and 3 are on Hulu, not season 2. I guess I’ll tackle that when I get there.

I even watched the last two episodes of The Transplant last night. Sounds like TV shows will be coming back later this fall.
