I was up past 10 last night, but slept great. I was a little nervous sometime during the day about new noises and such, but it was so quiet. I had the fan at the lowest speed but it was still quiet, and dark! And I was in my spare room.
I finally got out of bed and eventually got up and did a few things. I went to get my allergy shot, and grabbed some breakfast. I went to the old place to load up. Of course it was drizzly raining. I made two trips. I’m getting there! I originally thought it would only be two trips, but it’ll be a bit more like 4 more? I don’t load my car up super full, I dont want to smoosh anything and just get to a point where I’ve had enough at the old place and head back.
I do have dishes in the dishwasher and sink at the old place… classy. I think I’ll load up what is clean in the dishwasher, and load the stuff from the sink in the dishwasher and run it, so I’m not bringing dirty dishes back. I did however, bring back dirty laundry that was in the washer. To be fair… it had been in there since Tuesday. It was an out of sight out of mind situation.
Oh well, it is what it is. Thankfully I have time.
Luke, Jill and the kids are going to come up tomorrow — not sure if he will be able to help me with some things. I’d really like his help putting up the mount for my TV in my bedroom; but I don’t want to bother him. If I can bug my cousin Red to come up and do some of the stuff I can’t do on my own, I’ll be glad.
I’ve got all my empty boxes broke down. My recycle bin is bigger than my trash bin, but I’ve been loading the trash in my Equinox and taking it to the old place where there are two dumpsters that get emptied every few days.
My feet hurt, and my legs… the restless leg syndrome is real! I don’t even know how to explain it. I used to get it very rarely but this week it’s been terrible every night. I’m sure it has to do with that I’m moving non-stop and normally sit on my ass all day at work.
Okay I’m fading pretty fast. I didn’t even take a nap today! I’m going to go find some Biofreeze and slather it all over my legs.
