Every year after getting back from Scentsy Family Reunion [our annual, national convention] we are pumped for what’s to come. This was the first year I had a team member come with and it was pretty awesome. It was awesome to catch up with old friends, and meet new ones. There’s truly nothing like my Scentsy family. We’ve found our tribe!
A great time was had, but now it’s time to roll up the sleeves and get to work. But first, catch up on sleep, get used to the usual time zone, and clean up this condo. I swear the place was clean when I left, and I was only gone a week, how did two hours affect me so much? I feel like I got a lot of sleep for SFR, but I’m still exhausted.
We left Anaheim at 6 AM on Sunday, breezed through checking luggage and security at LAX, made it to Chicago by 3:30 and were on the road home. I pulled into my parking spot at my condo about 8:20 PM. It was a long ass day! I got my luggage in and actually started a load of laundry, took a shower and crawled into the recliner with a book. I was asleep by midnight and woke up about 8:30, but crawled back in bed and slept til about 10:45. I didn’t nap all day on Monday knowing it would be a little rough, but it was 2 AM before I was able to fall asleep for the night. I thought yesterday drug on, but here I am at Wednesday and slept like a log last night; didn’t even wake up to go to the bathroom; and I’m whooped. I don’t know if it’s all hitting me or I’m finally getting closer to being caught up on sleep.
I’m planning on making some dinner, and reading and calling it a night early. It’s Wednesday; so I that’s usually my night “off” from Scentsy, which I plan on being very low key! I know self care if very important! Plus it’s the end of the month…
