The craziness that is life.

How is it already 9 days into February? I had great intentions this year to write a few times a week; obviously that hasn’t panned out so well.

Sunday night I wasn’t feeling so great, and went into Monday at work feeling crappy. I didn’t sleep so great Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday it was just too much; I asked to go home sick about 11. I tried to take a nap when I got home, knowing sleep would be best, but no such luck. I laid in my bed for 3 hours, so I’ll take the rest. I was hoping that I’d wake up and feel better today, but not so much. I really do not like calling in sick. I usually get up, shower, and go to work and tough it out, but it just wasn’t in the plans for today. I called my boss about 7:15 and fell back asleep til about 11:30.  My body needed rest. I lounged around the whole rest of the afternoon and about 4:30 after another warm, relaxing bath; I got out and thought I was feeling better.

The night has been much better, and I am already yawning, so I think I’m going to go watch Grey’s Anatomy and then hop in bed and call it a night.

Pumped for the weekend; Cody Hicks is playing at Wildwood tomorrow night, then I get to see LANco again, they are with Dylan Scott at the First Avenue Club. Great weekend for music.

It’s Transition Month in Scentsyland; which means we are prepping to close out this catalog and pump up for a new catalog in March. Almost everything is 10% off this month.  There are a few items in the SALE section that are marked down 70% off!  There’s a great deal on our Diffusers are on sale for $117 and  you get to pick 3 free oils.  Let me tell you, I was skeptical at first of this whole diffuser / essential oil thing. Then I got one after attending the Scentsy Family Reunion [our national convention] in St. Louis a few years ago. BLOWN AWAY. First, these have Scentsy’s lifetime warranty. Second, you can use any oil, not just Scentsy’s oils, and Third, they are gorgeous.

They shut off when the water is gone. Completely power off. Talk about safe! They have a large water well, that allows them to go about 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low or the intermittent setting. I have one in my office and one in my bedroom. This week, I’ve been diffusing Eucalyptus, and I feel like it’s helping!
